This site is here to help you find pictures of teachers.  Our goal is to help you find what you need, whether it be pictures of a teacher teaching a classroom full of students or simple clipart of a teacher with an apple.  We have divided this site up into four distinct areas to make it easy for you to navigate:

Why Make a Site Just About Pictures of Teachers?

Because there are just no good ones out there.  Most picture websites are too broad and include a whole bunch of junk that you don't need and don't want.  I wanted to make a website specific to teachers and classrooms.  That way, teachers can easily find clipart to use for their own projects and students can find pictures of teachers to use for their assignments.  You will also find bits and pieces of teacher trivia throughout this site as well as "little known facts".

Why Are Teachers So Important?

Throughout our lives we will encounter many people from many different professions, but the people that will influence our lives more than any others are teachers.  Aside from our family and friends, teachers have the biggest impact on who we are and who we become.  Preschool teachers get us on the right path.  They point us in the right direction and teach us that learning can be fun, whether it's learning to tie our shoes or learning to count.  Kindergarten teachers teach us how to obey rules and teach us the alphabet.  Grade school elementary teachers teach us how to read and write, basic math, science, music, etc.  Middle school and secondary education teachers prepare us for high school, giving us the proper training we need.   High school teachers prepare us for college and real life experiences out in the real world.  College teachers and professors teach us the knowledge and skills we need for specific job areas.  Educators will continue to educate as long as the student wants to be taught.  It is an ongoing cycle of influence and learning that starts when we are small children and continues well into our adult life.

You Remember Those Who Influence Your Life

Can you name the last five Nobel Peace Prize winners?  How about the last five Miss America title holders?  Could you remember who won the most Emmys the past five years? Golden Globes? Tonys?  Oscars?  If you're anything like me the answer is probably NO to all those questions.  But I bet you could name each one of your grade school teachers!  That's because you remember those people who affect your life, whether it's in a good way or a bad way.  I could tell you the names of every single teacher I ever had.  This site serves not only as a resource where you can find photos of teachers, but it also serves as a tribute to teachers everywhere.  Teachers are important and should be respected and appreciated.
